Peggy Chiu, t he chief founder and Managing Director has been in the recruitment business for more than a decade. She has a broad range of exposure and has handled placements in industries such as Fast Moving Consumer Goods(FMCG), Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Health Care, Information Technology(IT), Telecommunication(Telco), Advertising, Insurance, Banking, Chemicals and Manufacturing. To carry out her assignments, she has traveled frequently within the Asia region, particularly to Southern China for business development as well as for recruiting potential candidates for clients.

Prior to setting up Search & Select, Peggy was with Kensington Associates. Her initial mandate was to provide a full scope of services to Non-IT clients. As a result of her good performance, she was assigned additional responsibilities which expanded her coverage to include the IT and Telco industries as well. Before joining Kensington, Peggy started her executive search career with the Hong Kong office of Nicholson International, a UK based human resources consultancy firm, where she focused on China projects.

Before Peggy began her career in recruitment for executives, she was a successful consultant in a locally based employment agency, and as a result, she was approached by ADIA(A Swiss based employment agency and now known as ADECCO) in 1993 to join their Hong Kong team. Eight months later, Peggy was promoted to Branch Manager and was given the responsibility to set up the Kowloon branch office. In early 1996, she was appointed to be Acting Country Manager for the company's Hong Kong operation.

Peggy is holder of a Bachelor Degree in Commerce, major in Accounting. She speaks Fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Fujienese, Chiu Chow and Tagalog.

In summary, Peggy has extensive experience and skills in placing executives for search and selection; permanent, temporary and part time placements; as well as project and contract staffing assignments. She has consistently been an outstanding performer and has received numerous awards for her contribution and performance.
